Diigo was a cool tool that I learned about this semester that I had not heard of beforehand. It is a cool blog style tool that I learned how to use annotation and keywords in order to describe what I am annotating. I didn't know that there was a Google Chrome shortcut which makes it very easy to use because you can share to your specific group and what you annotate goes straight to Diigo. Other than all of this, I thought the overall website was easy to use and I think it is cool that you can open other student's posts and leave comments on them. I also like how you can go through your website and highlight and leave comments on important items you want others to see. Teacher professional development is very important so that all teachers can stay up to date on current technology and new things that could be useful for their classrooms and to their students as well. Reddit is a blog-like website where you can search sub-reddit pages to read about other things you search going on in the community. For example, as a teacher, there are teacher pages that you can look up for advice, tools, lesson plans, etc. As well as this, you as a teacher can create your own page and make posts on it and your students can join your page. This way, you can communicate with your students and also keep in touch with your community by joining other pages.

I have been using Twitter since I was a freshman in high school because my mom would not let me download it in middle school, so it is not unfamiliar to me. I have learned that Twitter can go beyond just acting as a social media and looking at funny memes. You have the power to follow whoever you want and the kind of content that will show up on your feed. Some benefits of using Twitter are being able to communicate with others, so for using it in class we can communicate with our other classmates and Mrs. Bagdy. I have not experienced any issues using Twitter thus far. I learned how to use weebly which I had not used before. I enjoyed learning how to use a website and I found it very useful for future purposes whether we want to become teachers or not because websites can be used for other purposes as well.
